Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from an accredited School of Pharmacy.
PharmD from an accredited School of Pharmacy
Current Washington State Pharmacist Licensure required.
2 years hospital pharmacy experience required.
Preferred Qualifications:
MBA or M.S. in Pharmacy Administration from an accredited educational institution
5 years broad pharmacy operations.
Pharmacy systems experience.
ASHP approved pharmacy residency.
Contract Pharmacy experience.
Hospital setting experience.
Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
Demonstrates and sustains compliance with company's caregiver expectations standards of Excellence and Code of Conduct.
Manages and coordinates ongoing maintenance aspects of 340B program to ensure compliance and maximize savings.
Ensures regular internal and external audits are completed and documented by 340B staff.
Ensures internal and external audit findings are addressed locally/regionally and shared with system colleagues as appropriate.
Ensures standardized and consistent implementation of split vendor and other operational optimizations throughout the region.
Drafts and updates 340B operational workflow procedures for 340B technicians, buyers, and managers.
Maintains current knowledge of the 340B program including trends in audit findings and new regulations.
Corroborates with key hospital and clinic pharmacy and administrative team members to achieve compliance to mixed use, clean sights, contract pharmacy, and child sight regulations.
Directly supervises 340B support staff and purchasing staff (e.g. 340 analysts, buyer, compliance, other as assigned) and partners with Operations Manager of Pharmacy to oversee inpatient buyer and warehouse technician.
Oversees successful management of EPIC billing work queues
Ensures continued readiness for a HRSA audit at all KRMC and KC impacted facilities and locations.
Participates in and/or leads local, regional, and system workgroups and steering committees dedicated to 340B oversight and compliance.
