The House Supervisor serves as a point of care leader and role model for all acute care areas within the hospital. The House Supervisor must demonstrate a high level of clinical competence, excellent critical thinking skills, and a strong ability to manage patient flow throughout the organization, with emphasis on staff support and customer service. The RN House Supervisor acts as a liaison to physicians, admitting staff, and care coordination teams to promote optimal patient care, facilitate patient admission, discharge, intra-hospital and inter-facility transfer. Collaborates with clinical and administrative staff to define, reduce, and eliminate barriers within the system that may impeded patient flow.
Equipment utilized: Cerner
Supervisory experience and 3-5 years critical care experience preferred.
Current NH RN License and BLS, ACLS, Dysrhythmia, CPI
Shift: Full time nights or days. Days is 7a-7p, Nights is 7p-7a - 36 hours per week. Every other Saturday for the weekend requirement
Floating to other units: Floating to lakes region hospital and franklin regional hospital
