Under the supervision of the VP of Professional Services, the Speech/Language Pathologist delivers Speech Therapy to the patient in both hospital and out-patient settings.
Must be able to work normal/scheduled working hours which may include Holidays, call-backs, weeknights, weekends, and on-call in the Director's absence. Agrees to participate, as directed, in emergencies and community disasters during scheduled and unscheduled hours.

The employee must work well under pressure, meet multiple and sometimes competing deadlines; and the incumbent shall at all times demonstrate a cooperative behavior with colleagues and supervisors from all departments of the Hospital and government agency employees. Qualifications
- At least 3 years of experience.
- Must have a Master's degree in Speech/Language Pathology, or its equivalent, from a college program satisfying the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association's (ASHA's) academic requirements and practicum.
- Current ASHA certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech/Language pathology preferred or in the process of completing the Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
- Current license for practicing Speech/Language Pathology in the state of California.
- Must have and maintain current BLS certification or obtain within orientation process, prior to hands-on patient care.
- Must follow AIDET and accepts reassignments and additional duties, when necessary, in a flexible and positive manner.
- Must maintain the department in compliance with rules and regulations set forth by governing agencies.
