If so, an opportunity exists to work with an integrated health care system based in east central Ohio who is looking for someone to join their team. The system is a not-for-profit and has over 300 physicians and multiple outpatient care centers throughout the area.
The system is the largest provider in a six county region and a primary referral center. It offers a higher level of service than what is typically found in a community of its size including open-heart surgery, trauma care, a Level II neonatal intermediate care unit, neurosurgery and comprehensive cancer services.

This position is responsible for the web content social media and all other interactive media for the Healthcare System. The incumbent effectively participates in the creation of content and content plans, developing social media and web strategy tactics to build awareness and increase utilization of the healthcare system’s services.
1.Collaborates with the department director to develop interactive marketing plans for new products, programs and services. 2.Serves as webmaster for the systems main website and the intranet sites. 3.Advises, plans and executes a variety of social media strategies. 4.Stays well connected with the broader social media world to advise and consult with internal stakeholders on current trends and future expectations for business tools in the social media community. 5.Acts as primary advisor on all social channels and actively participates in blogging, community development and social bookmarking. 6.Writes for the website and healthcare system's publications. 7.Works with other team members to execute public relations plans and events. 8.Works with other department leadership to manage and resolve issues. 9.Prepares analytical reports and presentations on recommendations for using social media, and effectiveness of the various social media employed. 10.Works to grow staff participation in and understanding of social media for self-promotion and engagement. 11.Manages work activities of direct reports. Performs other staff management functions such as completing annual performance appraisals and hiring and/or termination of employees as needed.
Bachelor’s degree in public relations/marketing or communications REQUIRED.
Two years of marketing/communications writing experience in a digital environment.
Two years of experience creating and managing social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Instagram.
Prior experience maintaining a website.
Must have working knowledge of Wordpress, Google Analytics and basic HTML.
Must think strategically and be able to create and implement social media plans and campaigns.
Demonstrated project management, time management and organizational, skills.
Experience in issues and crisis management.
Ability to work independently and under pressure in a complex and changing work environment, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent interpersonal, decision-making, facilitation, conflict resolution and investigative skills.
Must be PC literate in Microsoft Office business applications and Internet usage.
Must have excellent written and oral communication skills, the ability to think both strategically and creatively working on several projects simultaneously.
Reports to Marketing Director. Will have 2 peer manager and will supervise 1-2 as well.
Needs someone that knows their way around a website.
Must be detail-oriented with superior project management skills.
Must be able to demonstrate website development experience and use of social media.
Person should be prepared to present a portfolio during the interview.
Must have copy writing experience(able to provide brochures created, website pages, etc.) and show what you have done.
The pay depends on experience but the range is 62K-85K. There is bonus of up to 6% for this position as well as they have an excellent benefit package.
