Internal Sales Executive Castle Donington | £35,000-£45,000 basic + uncapped commission

We are working with a well-established but rapidly growing company in Castle Donington that is looking for an experienced Internal Sales Executive to join its commercial team.

This is not an order-taking or customer service role. As an Internal Sales Executive, you will proactively develop existing customers, win back lapsed accounts, identify new business opportunities and increase spend across a broad product portfolio. You will have ownership of your customers, your pipeline and your results.

As the Sales Executive what will your day look like?

• Proactively contact existing, lapsed and prospective customers
• Create new sales opportunities through regular outbound activity
• Develop and grow an assigned portfolio of accounts
• Identify opportunities to increase customer spend and cross-sell products
• Re-engage customers whose purchasing has reduced or stopped
• Follow up quotations, enquiries, campaigns and leads with urgency
• Qualify opportunities and progress them through to conversion
• Build relationships with key customer contacts and decision makers
• Prepare quotations and commercial proposals
• Negotiate confidently and ask for the business
• Maintain an active sales pipeline and clear next actions
• Record customer activity and opportunities accurately within the CRM
• Work closely with Marketing, Product Managers and the wider sales team
• Attend exhibitions, workshops and customer meetings where required
• Take ownership of individual revenue and gross profit targets

Our ideal Internal Sales Executive will have:

• A proven background in proactive B2B sales
• Strong outbound telephone sales experience
• A demonstrable track record of achieving or exceeding targets
• A commercially driven approach and genuine enjoyment of winning business
• Confidence approaching customers and prospects who have not requested contact
• Resilience and the ability to handle objections and rejection
• Strong follow-up skills and personal organisation
• The ability to build rapport quickly while retaining a clear commercial focus
• Experience managing a sales pipeline and working to individual KPIs
• Confidence discussing pricing, margin and commercial opportunities
• Experience within print, signage, personalisation, promotional products, textiles or a related market would be useful but is not essential

What is on offer when you join as the Internal Sales Executive:

• £40,000-£45,000 basic salary
• Uncapped commission
• Realistic OTE of £60,000-£65,000
• Significant additional earning potential for high performers
