What you'll be doing as a Project Planner / Planning Engineer:
- Developing and maintaining detailed project programmes using Primavera P6
- Supporting Project Managers and delivery teams with integrated plans that cover design, procurement, construction, commissioning and handover
- Creating baseline schedules to track performance and measure progress
- Identifying critical paths, potential risks, and early warnings to keep delivery on track
- Participating in project progress meetings and presenting planning updates to stakeholders
- Supporting NEC contract compliance through planning documentation and change control
- Helping to produce accurate project and programme-level reporting for business intelligence
- Engaging with site teams, regional office staff, and stakeholders to support real-time delivery decisions
What you'll bring: - Proven experience as a Project Planner / Planning Engineer in construction, engineering, utilities or related infrastructure sectors
- Advanced working knowledge of Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Understanding of NEC contract planning requirements
- Analytical thinking, attention to detail, and an ability to anticipate and mitigate risks
- A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to project sites across the region when needed
