HR Advisor ER
HR Advisor (Contract – Remote with Occasional Travel) London EC1V South UK Projects | Contract to October | Inside IR35 p/ oss Outside IR35, £200-250 per day
Looking for a contract HR opportunity where you can make a tangible difference – without being tied to one desk?
This is a chance to step into a broad, hands-on HR Advisor role where your impact will be felt across multiple live sites in the South of the UK. You’ll be part of a wider function that truly values regional knowledge, adaptability, and smart HR thinking—where your support helps keep projects moving and teams thriving.
As the HR Advisor you will be working remotely, with occasional travel to regional sites or head office (London), this role offers the variety and challenge that many contract HR professionals look for. From mobilisation and recruitment to ER advice and succession planning, this isn’t a role that keeps you in the background—it’s one where you’re trusted to partner directly with operational managers and influence outcomes.
You’ll be the go-to for generalist HR advice—coaching managers through policies and processes, guiding employee relations cases, and supporting TUPE and organisational change. You’ll lead the charge on embedding key talent and performance review cycles, and play a part in shaping local development plans, pay reviews, and reward decisions. And through all of that, you’ll help keep MyHR usage smart and insightful, pulling meaningful people data to support decisions on the ground.
As the HR Advisor you’ll also get involved in business growth activity, supporting HR input into bids and tenders, and ensuring workforce strategies are bid-ready.
▪Significant experience and ability to demonstrate working at HR Adviser level
▪ Sound knowledge of UK employment law and experience of dealing with TUPE, mergers & acquisitions, and employee & industrial relations issues
▪ Ability to manage both the commercial business objectives and HR agenda in order to achieve the most appropriate outcomes for the business and HR
▪ Proven experience of managing and implementing projects and change activities
