US Regulatory & Investigations Associate
Key Responsibilities
Assist on a broad range of US regulatory and enforcement matters, including anti-corruption and bribery, anti-money laundering (AML), sanctions, and internal and government investigations.
Advise multinational clients on compliance, regulatory risk management, and contentious investigations across jurisdictions.
Draft, review, and manage submissions, reports, investigation memoranda, and other legal documentation with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
Support and represent clients in negotiations, mediations, arbitrations, and interactions with regulatory authorities.
Collaborate closely with partners and associates across the firms global disputes and investigations practice.
Contribute to the supervision and development of junior lawyers and trainees where appropriate.
Stay abreast of legal and regulatory developments affecting clients and actively participate in internal knowledge-sharing initiatives.
Requirements
US qualified lawyer with 1 - 4 years' post-qualification experience in US regulatory, compliance, investigations, or white-collar matters.
Experience gained at a leading international law firm or reputable disputes/investigations practice.
Strong understanding of anti-corruption, AML, sanctions, and regulatory enforcement frameworks.
Excellent drafting, legal research, and analytical skills.
Proven ability to manage complex legal matters and deliver practical, commercial advice.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with clients and colleagues.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage competing priorities, and perform under pressure.
Preferred Attributes
Experience advising on cross-border investigations and regulatory enforcement actions.
Exposure to government investigations, internal investigations, or white-collar defense matters.
Strong academic credentials and a demonstrated commitment to legal excellence.
Collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal skills.

Commercial awareness and an international mindset, with an interest in working on complex, multi-jurisdictional matters.
