Maritime, Trade and Offshore Finance Associate
Key Responsibilities
Support partners on all aspects of cross-border marine asset finance, general banking and project finance transactions.
Structure, draft, review, and negotiate the terms of documentation for multi-jurisdictional deals.
Perform legal research and advise on issues relevant to finance transactions.
Provide strategic regulatory and compliance advice, including on environmental, registration and insurance matters.
Build, maintain and support the management of client files and relationships
Requirements
Qualified lawyer in Singapore, UK, US or any other common law jurisdiction.
4+ years PQE in asset, project or banking finance transactions.
Experience in cross-border transactions, ideally in Korea, PRC (including Hong Kong) and/or Singapore.
Practical experience with financing structures and issues, gained at a leading firm.
Demonstrated drafting and negotiation skills.
Numerical skills and commercial awareness.
Up to date knowledge of relevant legislation and regulation worldwide.

Interest in business development and development of internal and external networks.
Client relationship management experience.
