Japanese Law firm seeks International M&A specialist for Singapore Office
 
Our client, a dynamic and fast‑growing Japanese-based international law firm, is seeking a Corporate M&A Lawyer to join its Singapore office. This hybrid position offers exposure to sophisticated cross‑border transactions and clear career progression within an international, collaborative environment (partnership-track).
 
Responsibilities

• Advise on complex, cross‑border M&A transactions across Asia, the US, Europe, and other major jurisdictions.
• Draft, review, and negotiate documentation for acquisitions, joint ventures, and disposals.
• Collaborate with colleagues across global offices on multi-jurisdictional mandates.
• Provide strategic input on deal structuring, due diligence, and regulatory considerations.
• Support business development, including client pitches and thought‑leadership initiatives.

 
Qualifications

• US, UK or Australian qualified lawyer (other common law jurisdictions considered).
• 5+ years PQE with strong experience in cross‑border M&A transactions.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex, multi‑jurisdictional deal structures.
