Private Capital Mid-Level Associate
Key Responsibilities
Advise clients, including non-bank lenders such as private equity firms, family offices, or investment funds, on strategic investments and portfolio-building.
Facilitate investments in private, non-public assets, including private equity, private credit, venture capital, and infrastructure.
Draft, review, and negotiate documentation for complex domestic and cross-border private capital transactions.
Provide regulatory and compliance advice and ensure adherence to securities laws
Requirements
Qualified lawyer (any Common Law jurisdiction) with 2+ years PQE in private capital or M&A.
Experience drafting, reviewing and negotiating relevant documents.
Understanding of private equity, private credit, and venture capital, as well as tax and regulatory implications.
Experience with regulatory and compliance aspects of finance transactions.
Ability to work in a high-pressure environment.
Preferred Attributes
Singaporean or PR, or otherwise qualified for employment in Singapore.
Qualified to practice law in the UK.
Strong presentation and interpersonal skills.
Passion for client development and focus on client service.
