We are seeking a talented Associate (2-5 years PQE) to join the Investment Funds practice of a leading international law firm with a strong Asia-Pacific presence. This is an exceptional opportunity to work on complex fund formation and cross-border structuring matters across Southeast Asia and beyond.
 
As an Associate, you will:

• Advise on the formation, structuring, and operation of private investment funds, including PE, VC, real estate, and hedge funds
• Draft and negotiate fund documentation, side letters, and investor communications
• Support regulatory and compliance matters across multiple jurisdictions
• Collaborate with senior partners on cross-border mandates involving fund sponsors, institutional investors, and sovereign wealth funds
• Gain exposure to market-leading transactions and innovative fund structures

What We're Looking For:

• Law degree from a top-tier law school in a major jurisdiction (J.D., LLB, or equivalent)
• LLM from a leading global university is preferred but not required
• 2-5 years PQE in Investment Funds, ideally with cross-border experience
• Familiarity with fund formation under Singapore, Cayman, or Luxembourg regimes
• Strong drafting, negotiation, and client management skills
• Commercially astute, responsive, and able to deliver pragmatic solutions
