We are working with a high-quality Young Adults Care Group who provide person-centred care and outcomes to individuals in supported living environments that promote independence, choice and wellbeing.

As a Care Services Manager you will oversee and manage the day-to-day delivery of high quality support services within Supported Living houses based in Oldham, promoting respect, equality and independence and providing an environment where people and thrive and become the best they can be.

Supported by the Senior Management Team you will be responsible for the staff team and people who use the service in all day-to-day operations and help to deliver the service’s long term future

In this role you will be responsible for supporting vulnerable adults with learning/physical disability, mental health problems and challenging behaviour.

Key Tasks

• Provide leadership and direction to the staff team
• Develop positive outcome-based care plans, supportive risk assessments and effective medication management
• Liaise with families, work with other professionals in multi-disciplinary teams and support all areas of financial management
• Evaluate the quality of service provided, completing all required compliance checks an audits
• Effectively manage available resources in line with allocations, current care plans, individualised budgets and CCH funding
• Contribute to the Operational Leadership Team
• Promote awareness of the service and respond to enquiries and referrals
• Collaborate with the housing providers to ensure a high standard accommodation and physical environment
• Promote safety for clients and staff and a culture of positive risk management

Person Spec

• NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social care or equivalent (or willingness to work toward)
• Full UK Valid Driving Licence
• Management experience in the Young Adult care sector
• Knowledge of current CQC regulatory framework and functions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong leadership skills
