ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are currently looking for an experienced Care Home Manager to lead on all aspects of the home, ensuring it runs as efficiently as possible whilst maintaining the highest standards of quality, professional standards and business performance targets.

Providing person-centred care, delivering excellent quality outcomes and supporting your residents and your teams is very important and we are looking for someone who can really shine and make a difference to the lives of others by demonstrating warmth and leadership.

Within this role you will take responsibilty for managing the Home's budgets, including maintaining strong occupancy levels using marketing and local connections/networking opportunities.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the care home, ensuring the highest standards of care are maintained at all times.
• Ensure that care plan are in place for every Resident, giving attention to the person-centred nature of the care and social needs of the individual.
• Lead and motivate a multidisciplinary team, fostering a culture of compassion, respect, and professionalism.
• Manage and oversee the recruitment of all staff for the Home as well as managing onboarding, inductions, training and ongoing staff development.
• Comply with all CQC regulations and Company Governance Policies, ensuring that the wider Team understand and are adhering to these also.
• Implement and monitor effective care plans tailored to the individual needs of residents, promoting their physical, emotional, and social well-being.
• Manage budgets, resources, and facilities efficiently to ensure the smooth running of the care home.
• Oversee the efficient and effective management of the eMARS systems for all medication recordings.
• Foster strong relationships with residents, their families, and external stakeholders, promoting open communication and transparency.

ESSENTIAL TO THIS ROLE:

• Experience working as a Care Home Manager
• Solid working knowledge of CQC guidelines
• Strong leadership skills
• Budgeting and financial analysis skills
• Experience of care improvement planning
• Be qualified to Level 3 in Adult Health & Social Care as a minimum
• Experience of managing people and building relationships
