We are looking for a Project Coordinator to join our Capital Management and Technical Services Team, with duties as follows.
Project Coordination
- Support PM’s with the coordination of projects to be delivered on time, on cost and according to quality expectations.
- Working with and supporting all PM’s and Director regarding; reporting, invoicing, administrative tasks, and special projects
- Coordinate the development of project plans that align scope, time, cost, quality, resources, and risk.
- Coordinate and support deliverables and schedule for all your projects.
- Work with PM’s ensuring that change, acceptance, and approval management is proactive and effective on all projects.
- Ensure that appropriate processes, tools, and techniques are used by the project teams.
- Promote timely communication between project teams and their stakeholders.
- Proactively escalate project issues and risks that require attention from the senior staff.
- Support the department in effectively and consistently delivering project status reporting updates on project accomplishments against milestones.
- Work closely with other project personnel and administrative staff to ensure continuity of expectations and deliverables.
- Demonstrate interest in and accountability for personal and professional development in Project Management.
- Provide accurate cost control and budget forecasting through the life cycle of all projects under your control.
- Other tasks and duties as assigned.
Knowledge/Skills/Experience/Competencies: - Position requires 3+ years in project coordination/administration experience, supporting medium to large construction, development, and servicing projects.
- Diploma or university degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of academic and practical experience.
- Working towards a Certified Engineering Technologist (CET) and PMP designation would be an asset.
- Working knowledge or willingness to train to obtain working knowledge of Yardi.
- Elementary understanding of mathematics, mechanical, plumbing, and electrical systems.
- Ability to recognize unusual, inefficient, or dangerous operating conditions and exercise independent judgement within established guidelines.
- An understanding of provincial safety rules, codes, and regulations pertaining to the work.
The expected annualized base salary range for this role is
$53,000 to $56,000. The actual salary offered will take into consideration a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, the individual’s skill, experience, education and training, the market compensation of the role, and the consideration to internal equity.
