Our client is a market leader in the Mining Services sector. Headquartered in Perth, Western Australia, full-service engineering and hydraulic equipment maintenance company, providing industry leading hydraulic attachments, boom systems and intelligent solutions to support Australia’s mining, quarrying, construction, demolition, material processing and recycling industries.
They are currently seeking a talented and motivated Site Service Manager to join their growing team.
Reporting directly to the Site Service Manager, the primary focus of this role is to scope and manage site service projects and activities. From initial quoting and project initiation, you will coordinate site maintenance and repair jobs for our customers with fixed plant booms systems and hydraulic attachments on a range of sites across WA, whilst complying with all statutory requirements and Company Safety, Health and Environmental standards and procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise, lead and assist in managing the boom system site service.
- Quote Boom System maintenance, service and repair jobs to customers.
- Plan, manage and support the coordination of site service activities and maintenance tasks with the required attention to detail and leading by example.
- Supervise employees coordinating the maintenance, servicing and repair activities of Boom Systems and Hydraulic Attachments on customers’ sites.
- Build positive relationships with customers and ensure a long-standing relationship is maintained.
- Ensure delivery schedules are met while complying with all safety practices.
- Ensure appropriate permits are used and documentation is completed as required by customer and internal systems.
- Ensure our staff attending the site meet expected performance, safety, quality and business culture standards.
- Identify and assist with solving any issues arising on site.
- Ensure that timely and detailed equipment service and repair reports and other documentation are produced when required.
- Ensure that site audits are conducted as required to maintain KPI requirements for equipment.
- Hazard and incident identification, reporting and remedy.
- Be accountable to the decisions that you make.
Requirements: - Relevant trade or tertiary qualification or a strong technical background in mechanical and/or hydraulic equipment manufacture, assessment, re-build or service
- Minimum 3 years industry “hands on” experience in hydraulic equipment sales, design, project management or service / repair
- Strong customer focus with a flexible ‘can-do’ attitude
- Excellent communication skills
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Demonstrated understanding of current WH&S legislation and safety requirements, ensuring WH&S requirements are being met at all times.
- Proven ability to ensure site staff are meeting performance expectations and standards.
- Strong organisational, decision making and time management skills with a strong work ethic and willingness to get the job done, to ensure projects are delivered on time.

- Ability to follow company policies, systems and procedures.
- Certificate IV in Leadership and Management (desirable)
- Proficiency in MS office.
- Priorities, organise & manage multi projects independently.
- Strong ability to resolve issues.
- The ability to work as part of a team.
