Engineering Trades Australia are seeking a highly skilled Hydraulic Mechanical fitter for a permanent role in Kewdale Western Australia! This role is offering full time employment. 

Position summary:

• Have an in-depth product knowledge
• Have excellent customer service skills 
• Conduct repairs, rebuilds maintenance and test tasks of hydraulic attachments including diagnosing errors or technical problems and coming up with solutions! 

Key responsibilities: 

• Hydraulic attachment servicing, diagnostics and repairs.
• Bench testing and commissioning.
• Stripping, rebuilds and refurbishments.
• Be a part of developing the collective skills and know-how of the TRS workshop team by sharing information and supporting others whenever the opportunity arises.
• Tie workflow to schedule.
• Operate all machinery, equipment and tools in a safe manner.
• Cooperate with workshop team and share information across the organisation.
• Provide service, advice and customer support in workshop, during onsite visits or commissioning. 
• Build positive relationships with customers.
• Produce timely and detail service reports.
• Other general maintenance and workshop duties.
• Follow all of the employers' policies, procedures and protocols as well as manager and supervisor instructions.

Job Details:

• Location: Kewdale 
• Start: ASAP 
• 10 hour working days including 30 min PAID lunch break!! 
• Saturday & Sunday work available
• Site visits will be required for commissioning and breakdowns 
• Full time permanent role! 

Rates:

• Mon - Fri (7.5hrs) - $48ph 
• Overtime -             $62.40ph
• Nightshift -            $53ph
• Nightshift overtime -  $68.90ph
• Saturday -               $62.40ph
• Sunday -                 $67.20ph 
• Site days -              $70ph 
• Site nights -            $75ph
• Site standby days/nights - $66ph 
• Travel to and from site - $58ph 
• Public holidays - day in lieu or paid case by case basis

Requirements for the role:

• Proven workshop and mine site experience 
• Passion for excellent customer service 
• Ability to work both under direct supervision and autonomously when required
• No historical restrictions on returning to any mine sites 
• Relevant Trade Certificate or strong technical background in Mechanical and/or hydraulic equipment assessment, re-build or service
• Current Australian Driver license (C class)
• Working at heights & Confined Spaces
• HRWL - EWP Over 11m, Forklift, Dogging, Rigging
• Gantry Crane experience 
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and D&A
