Our client is a market leader in Structural Steel Construction. Headquartered in Perth, Western Australia, they specialize in designing, manufacturing and full construction projects in the Industrial, Mining, Retail and Education sectors.
They are currently seeking a talented and motivated Project Manager to join their growing team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects in Western Australia.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the entire project lifecycle, from initiation, design, procurement, and construction to successful completion and handover.
- Control project budgets, ensuring cost efficiency, profitability, and alignment with financial targets.
- Ensure strict adherence to Australian safety, quality, and compliance standards, maintaining high project delivery standards.
- Lead and coordinate project teams, including internal staff, contractors, and main contractors.
- Oversee the Structural Steel packages of Design & Construct (D&C) projects, collaborating with consultants to achieve optimal design and construction outcomes.
- Manage procurement and supplier relationships, ensuring timely delivery of materials and equipment.
- Prepare and submit monthly progress claims and variation quotations, ensuring accurate financial tracking and reporting.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with project stakeholders, including clients, regulatory bodies, and internal teams.
Requirements: - Strong knowledge of Structural Steel inc. drawings and detailing
- Previous experience in managing Structural Steel projects.
- Worked across Industrial/ Commercial based projects
- Demonstrable experience in a similar role
- Ability to monitor, track, and meet project deadlines.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Proficient in reading and understanding technical drawings.
