Our client is currently seeking a highly skilled Fixed Plant Mechanical Fitter to join the Underground Fixed Plant Maintenance Crew. This role will be on a 6-month contract which will then lead to permanent employment with the client for the right person. 

***Please note, as this will lead to permanent employment, only candidates with Australian PR or Citizenship will be considered***

Experience required:

This role will be Fixed plant maintenance although they require someone who has extensive knowledge with hydraulics and pneumatics as there will be a portion of hydraulics work with fault finding on the plant during breakdowns. The work will include but not limited to:

• General Fixed plant maintenance - Crushers, Conveyors, Apron Feeders, Stackers
• Fault finding and repairs on hydraulic equipment / breakdowns
• Able to read and interpret Schematics and Technical drawings  
• Shaft, Winder and Headframe
• Underground Dewatering systems 
• Paste Plant & Batch plant 
• Bulk Air Chilling units
• Surface ventilation fans 

Job details:

• Location: Pilbara, WA
• MOB: ASAP
• Roster: 8:6 rotating roster (ongoing)
• Rates: $75ph flat Dayshift
• Rates: $80ph flat Nightshift
• FIFO from Perth ONLY! 
• Meals and accommodation provided at camp 
• Weekly pay - Every Friday 
• Temp to Perm opportunity after 6 months 

Requirements for the role:

• Must have experience working on the equipment above.
• Underground experience - Highly desired
• Australian Trade certificate 
• White card
• Working at heights & Confined Spaces - Within 2 years 
• Current Driver license 
• HRWL 
• Must have Permanent Residency or Citizenship
• Must have a clean Police clearance - Within 12 months
