At Engineering Trades Australia, we are looking for advanced rigger operators for a shutdown project at Coronado Curragh Mine, a coal mine in Queensland, running from 7th April to 4th May.

Here are the key details:

• Location: Coronado Curragh Mine (Coal Mine)
• Work Dates: 7th April – 4th May, with 2-week work cycles:
  • Day shifts: 4 days on, 1 day off
  • Night shifts: 5 days on, 1 day off
• Accommodation: On-site
• Meals: Provided
• Transport: Bus from Gladstone/Mackay to site or you can drive in/out yourself

The work involves:

• Working on ROM
• Fabricating and inspecting 500-tonne coal bins
• Cyclone replacement
• Reclaimer chain & bucket replacement
• General repairs work

Requirements:

• Coal Board Medical
• Advanced Rigger Ticket
• Working at Heights
• Confined Spaces
• Standard 11
