Engineering Trades Australia are currently seeking Fixed plant Mechanical fitters to join the Underground Maintenance crew in the Pilbara. Our client is on the lookout for someone who has good knowledge in Hydraulics and can commit to a long-term position as this will eventually lead to permanent employment for the right person. 

 Experience required:

• Scope of work and skills required: This will be a general fixed plant maintenance roster; however, our client is seeking someone who has a good knowledge of hydraulics for the purpose of fault finding and repairs. This work will include but not limited to;
• Shaft, Winder, Headframe
• Underground Dewatering systems 
• Underground ventilation door systems 
• Crusher, Apron Feeder, Conveyors, Stackers
• Paste Plant and Batch Plant 
• Bulk air chilling units 
• Surface ventilation fans  
• Be able to fault find / troubleshoot on hydraulic components

Job Details:

• Location: Pilbara
• Roster: 8:6 ongoing DS/NS
• Rates: $75ph flat dayshift & $80ph flat 
• Start date: ASAP! 
• Temp to permanent position after 3 months for the right person 
• FIFO from Perth ONLY! 
• Meals and accommodation provided on site 
• Weekly pay - Every Friday

Requirements for the role:

• Australian trade certificate 
• Current Driver License 
• Working at heights and Confined Spaces - Within 2 years 
• White card 
• HRWL
• Able to pass a full pre-employment medical and D&A
• Must be residing in Australia with full working rights to be considered
• Current NPC or ability to apply for one
