Our client is a pioneer in Electrical, Instrumentation, and Control (EI&C) solutions. Headquartered in Perth, Western Australia, they specialize in designing and manufacturing switch rooms (E-Houses), system integration, and R&D for industrial and mining sectors.
They are currently seeking a talented and motivated Project Manager to join their growing team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects across Australia.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the entire project lifecycle, from initiation, design, procurement, and construction to successful completion and handover.
- Control project budgets, ensuring cost efficiency, profitability, and alignment with financial targets.
- Ensure strict adherence to Australian safety, quality, and compliance standards, maintaining high project delivery standards.
- Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary project teams, including internal staff, contractors, and subcontractors.
- Oversee Design & Construct (D&C) projects, collaborating with consultants to achieve optimal design and construction outcomes.
- Manage procurement and supplier relationships, ensuring timely delivery of materials and equipment.
- Prepare and submit monthly progress claims and variation quotations, ensuring accurate financial tracking and reporting.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with project stakeholders, including clients, regulatory bodies, and internal teams.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 3 years of proven experience in a similar role.
- Previous experience in managing electrical projects.
- Worked across Industrial/ Commercial based projects
- Strong background in project estimation and cost management.
- Ability to monitor, track, and meet project deadlines.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Proficient in reading and understanding technical drawings.
