About the Role You will be responsible for planned and reactive maintenance across a range of fixed-plant equipment within mining and quarry environments.
Key responsibilities include: - Mechanical fitting, repairs and component replacements
- Maintenance of crushers, screens, conveyors, pumps and other fixed-plant equipment
- Diagnosing faults and troubleshooting breakdowns
- Planned and reactive maintenance
- Welding and fabrication-related fitting as required
- Drilling, tapping and assembly work
- Shutdown and project maintenance
- Alignment, torqueing and tensioning
- Flange management and general mechanical maintenance
- Working safely and efficiently to site and client standards
About You To be successful, you will have: - Relevant Mechanical Fitting trade qualification
- Previous experience in mining, quarrying or fixed-plant maintenance
- Strong mechanical fault-finding and maintenance skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Strong commitment to safety and quality
- Manual driver's licence - essential
- Own fitting tool bag
- Ability to pass an MMQ medical
