$74/hr Days | $85/hr Nights | 12-Hour Shifts | Crusher Experience Essential

We are currently seeking a minimum of 2 experienced Mechanical Fitters for an upcoming shutdown at Golden Grove Mine Site, WA.

Commencing 21 September 2026 and running through to 28 September 2026, this shutdown requires Fitters with strong, proven Jaw and Cone Crusher experience.

This is a specialist crusher maintenance scope – we're specifically looking for Mechanical Fitters who have previously completed crusher rebuilds, refurbishments and component change-outs, rather than general mechanical maintenance experience alone.

The Shutdown Scope
You'll be working on both Jaw and Cone Crushers, completing refurbishment and maintenance activities throughout the shutdown.

The scope will include:
Jaw Crusher

• Liner refurbishment
• Removal and replacement of crusher components
• Inspection and maintenance activities
• Supporting associated refurbishment works

Cone Crusher

• General refurbishment works
• Bush changes
• Component removal and replacement
• Inspection, maintenance and repairs
• Supporting the wider crusher refurbishment scope

Crusher Experience Is Essential

We're looking for Mechanical Fitters who have genuine hands-on crusher experience and can confidently contribute from the beginning of the shutdown.

To be considered, you must have:

• Australian-recognised Mechanical Fitter trade qualification
• Demonstrated Jaw Crusher experience
• Demonstrated Cone Crusher experience
• Previous crusher maintenance, rebuild or refurbishment experience
• Experience with liner works and component change-outs
• Strong mechanical fault-finding and maintenance skills
• Previous mining/shutdown experience
• Ability to work safely and efficiently across 12-hour shifts

General Mechanical Fitter experience without previous crusher experience will not be sufficient for this shutdown.

Mandatory Tickets & Requirements You will also need:

• Working at Heights – completed within the last 2 years
• Confined Space – completed within the last 2 years
• White Card
• Valid C Class Driver's Licence
• National Police Clearance – issued within the last 12 months
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical
• Ability to pass a Drug & Alcohol Screen
• Availability for the shutdown dates
