ASAP Start | Trenching & Subsoil Works | Small 3-Person Crew

We are currently seeking an experienced Excavator Operator to join our client for upcoming works in Western Australia, with an immediate start available.

Working as part of a small 3-person crew, you’ll be operating a 12-tonne excavator across trenching and subsoil works.

We’re looking for an experienced operator who is confident working around services, can operate safely and accurately, and is comfortable working as part of a small, hands-on crew.

The Role
As the Excavator Operator, your primary scope of work will include:

• Operating a 12-tonne excavator
• Trenching and excavation works
• Subsoil works
• Excavating to required depths and specifications
• Working safely around existing services and infrastructure
• Completing daily pre-start inspections
• Identifying and reporting equipment faults or maintenance requirements
• Working closely with the other members of the 3-person crew
• Assisting with general site activities where required
• Following site procedures and safe work practices
• Maintaining a high standard of accuracy and productivity

What We’re Looking For
To be considered, you will need:

• Previous experience operating a 12T excavator/digger
• C2 ticket – required
• Demonstrated trenching experience
• Experience completing subsoil works
• Strong understanding of safe excavation practices
• Ability to operate accurately and confidently
• Ability to work effectively within a small crew
• Strong awareness of surrounding personnel, services and equipment
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Reliable and safety-focused approach
• Full Australian working rights
• Availability to commence ASAP

About You
You’re an experienced Excavator Operator who is confident completing trenching and subsoil works without requiring constant supervision.
You understand the importance of accuracy when excavating and are comfortable working within a small team where everyone contributes to getting the job completed safely and efficiently.
