Hunter Valley, Singleton & Newcastle | 48 Hours per Week | Temp/Casual
We are currently seeking experienced Scaffolders for temporary/casual opportunities across the Hunter Valley, Singleton and Newcastle regions.
Offering up to $48 per hour for Advanced Scaffolders and approximately 48 hours per week, Monday to Friday, this is a great opportunity for experienced Scaffolders looking for consistent weekday work.
Previous mine-site experience will be highly regarded, and candidates who already hold a current Coal Board Medical or are willing and able to complete one are encouraged to apply.

The Role As a Scaffolder, you will work alongside site and project teams to safely erect, modify and dismantle scaffolding to support maintenance, construction and operational activities.
Your responsibilities may include: - Erecting and dismantling scaffolding systems
- Modifying and altering scaffolds to meet site requirements
- Inspecting scaffolding components prior to use
- Ensuring scaffolds are constructed safely and to required standards
- Working from heights and within active work areas
- Following site plans, instructions and permit requirements
- Identifying and reporting hazards or unsafe conditions
- Working closely with trades, supervisors and other site personnel
- Maintaining a high standard of housekeeping
- Following all site procedures and workplace safety requirements
What We’re Looking For To be considered, you will ideally have:
- Current Scaffolding High Risk Work Licence – Basic, Intermediate or Advanced as applicable
- Previous experience working as a Scaffolder
- Mine-site experience highly regarded
- Construction White Card
- Working at Heights competency where required
- Strong understanding of safe scaffolding practices
- Ability to undertake physically demanding work
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance
- Reliable attitude and strong work ethic
- Ability to work effectively as part of a site-based team
- Full Australian working rights
- Availability to work approximately 48 hours Monday–Friday
Coal Board Medical Candidates who already hold a current Coal Board Medical will be highly regarded. If you don't currently hold one, you must be willing and able to undergo the required medical assessment to meet relevant site requirements.
