I'm currently seeking experienced Industrial Painters, Blasters and Painter/Blasters to join leading manufacturing, fabrication and industrial maintenance companies across Newcastle.

These opportunities involve working on large-scale mining, industrial and structural equipment in professional workshop environments, with both ongoing positions and project-based work available.

• Up to $56 per hour + penalties, depending on project and experience

About the Role
You will be responsible for a range of industrial painting and blasting duties, including:

• Abrasive blasting and surface preparation
• Industrial spray painting and protective coating application
• Preparing steel and fabricated components to specification
• Working on large mining and industrial equipment
• Ensuring all work meets quality and safety requirements
• Following site procedures and WHS requirements

About You
We are interested in hearing from:

• Experienced Industrial Painters
• Experienced Blasters
• Painter/Blasters
• Painters with previous blasting experience
• Blasters looking to develop their painting skills

To be successful, you will have:

• Previous industrial painting and/or abrasive blasting experience
• Strong understanding of surface preparation and coating systems
• A strong commitment to safety and quality
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable work ethic and willingness to work overtime when available
