Full Job Description
Engineering Trades Australia is currently seeking an experienced Electrical Leading Hand for a long-term commercial project in Spring Hill, Brisbane, QLD. The project involves extensive internal refurbishment and electrical fit-out works in a hotel. This is a great opportunity for an experienced electrician looking to step into a leadership role on a sizeable project.

About the Role
Working alongside the project management team, you will help coordinate and deliver electrical works across the project, including:

• Leading a team of electricians and apprentices
• Coordinating daily electrical activities on site
• Commercial electrical fit-out and installation
• Rough-in, fit-off and final electrical works
• Lighting, power and general electrical services
• Reading and interpreting electrical drawings and plans
• Coordinating materials and labour requirements
• Conducting pre-starts and maintaining site safety standards
• Working closely with the builder, supervisors and other trades
• Monitoring progress and ensuring work is completed to a high standard

What We're Looking For

• Current QLD Electrical Licence
• Proven experience as an Electrical Leading Hand or experienced electrician ready to step up
• Strong commercial construction or fit-out experience
• Ability to lead a small team and coordinate site activities
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• White Card
• Current CPR & LVR
• Driver's Licence
