We are currently seeking experienced Industrial Painter & Blasters to join a 6-week project at Port Waratah Coal Services in Newcastle, commencing 3 August. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a major industrial maintenance project, offering competitive rates, consistent hours, and penalty rates.

What's on Offer

• Project Start: 3rd August 2026
• Duration: 6-week project
• Location: Port Waratah Coal Services, Kooragang Island, Newcastle
• Pay Rate: $48.32 per hour + penalties
• Roster: Monday to Saturday, 6:00am – 4:00pm (10-hour days)

Key Responsibilities

• Abrasive blasting and surface preparation
• Industrial spray painting and application of protective coatings
• Preparing steel surfaces to specification
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard
• Adhering to site procedures and WHS requirements

To Be Successful You Will Have

• Trade qualification in Industrial Painting and Blasting (or equivalent industry experience)
• Previous experience in industrial painting and abrasive blasting
• Strong knowledge of surface preparation and protective coating systems
• A commitment to safety and quality workmanship
• The ability to work effectively in a team environment
