Engineering Trades Australia is seeking experienced Underground Electricians for a FIFO opportunity at CSA Cobar Mine, NSW.

Join a leading mining operation supporting underground electrical maintenance across a hard rock mining environment. This is an excellent opportunity for electricians looking for a stable roster, competitive rates and ongoing work.

• $75/hr + penalties
• FIFO from Brisbane
• 7:7 roster
• 12-hour paid shifts
• Accommodation and meals provided

Role Responsibilities

• Maintain underground electrical infrastructure and fixed plant equipment
• Fault finding, breakdowns and preventative maintenance
• Work on HV/LV systems, switchboards, MCCs and underground power distribution
• Maintain mining equipment including pumps, conveyors, fans and associated infrastructure
• Complete electrical installations, testing and commissioning

Requirements

• Australian Electrical Trade Qualification
• Current Electrical Licence
• Underground hard rock mining experience (essential)
• Minimum 3 years' mining electrical experience
• Underground fixed plant and mobile equipment experience
• White Card
• Working at Heights
• Confined Space
• EWP >11m (highly desirable)
• Current C Class Driver's Licence
• Ability to pass medical, drug & alcohol screening
• Australian working rights
