Engineering Trades Australia is currently seeking experienced Mechanical Fitters for a range of gold mining clients across Western Australia. With multiple opportunities available, we are looking for skilled tradespeople with strong fixed plant maintenance experience who are seeking their next FIFO opportunity.
These roles offer the chance to work with reputable mining operations across ongoing maintenance, shutdowns, and fixed plant projects.

Role Details Successful candidates will be working within fixed plant maintenance teams, completing planned maintenance, breakdowns, shutdowns, inspections, and repairs across processing plant equipment.
Experience across crushers, mills, conveyors, pumps, and other fixed plant equipment will be highly regarded.
What you'll need - Mechanical Fitter Trade Qualification
- Previous fixed plant maintenance experience
- Mining or heavy industrial experience preferred
- Experience with crushers, mills, conveyors, or processing equipment
- Strong mechanical fault-finding skills
- Ability to work safely in a team environment
- Australian Working Rights
- Current National Police Clearance (required for some sites)
