Engineering Trades Australia is currently seeking an experienced CNC Press Brake Operator for a workshop-based role in Morningside, Brisbane.
 
This position is ideal for someone who can confidently operate and program a CNC press brake and is looking for a stable, long-term opportunity with a reputable manufacturing business.

About the Role
 
You will be responsible for setting up, programming, and operating CNC press brake machinery to produce high-quality fabricated components to specification.
Key Responsibilities

• Programming and operating CNC press brake machines
• Working with a Windows-based operating system
• Setting up jobs and tooling requirements
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
• Performing quality checks on finished products
• Ensuring production targets and quality standards are met
• Maintaining a safe and organised work area

To Be Successful

• Previous CNC Press Brake operating experience
• Experience programming Heiko press brake machines highly regarded
• Confident using Windows-based CNC control systems
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
• Reliable work history and strong work ethic
• Current Australian working rights
