Pipe Fitters & Pipe Welders - Brisbane

Due to continued growth and an expanding project portfolio, we are currently seeking experienced Pipe Fitters and Pipe Welders to join our team in Brisbane. Opportunities are available for candidates seeking either casual or permanent employment, with ongoing work, strong overtime opportunities, and the chance to work on a variety of industrial projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Fitting and welding of small and large bore pipework in workshop and onsite environments
• Welding in accordance with relevant Australian and International Standards (ASME XI)
• Completing and understanding work packs, including material and weld traceability requirements
• Minor structural steel fabrication, assembly, and installation as required
• Bolt-up and flange management activities
• Reading and interpreting isometric and engineering drawings
• Working autonomously and as part of a team
• Maintaining a strong commitment to safety, quality, and productivity

Skills & Experience Required

• Demonstrated experience in pipe fitting and/or pipe welding
• Ability to successfully complete multiple 6G pipe weld tests
• Experience welding using:
  • GTAW (STT)
  • SMAW
  • FCAW
• Capability to achieve 100% X-Ray quality welds on carbon and stainless steel pipe
• Experience in structural fabrication and welding using SMAW and FCAW processes
• Strong communication skills and a positive, reliable work ethic
• Commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship

• Construction White Card

• Confined Space Entry
• Full Australian working rights

Highly Regarded

• High Risk Work Licence (WP, LF)
• Additional industry tickets and certifications

Pre-Employment Requirements Successful candidates will be required to:

• Complete and pass weld testing, including visual inspection requirements
• Pass a Drug & Alcohol screen
• Pass a Pre-Employment Medical
