HSE Advisor – FIFO | Tier 1 Mining Projects | Competitive Rates

A leading mining contractor is seeking an experienced HSE Advisor to join their team delivering major projects across multiple Tier 1 mining operations in Western Australia.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established contractor with a strong pipeline of secured work across large-scale mining infrastructure, shutdowns and construction projects.

Working closely with site leadership and project teams, you will play a key role in ensuring safety standards, compliance and best practice are upheld across site operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide frontline safety leadership and support to supervisors, crews and contractors
• Conduct site inspections, audits and risk assessments to ensure compliance with site safety systems
• Assist with incident investigations, ICAM processes and corrective action implementation
• Support toolbox talks, pre-start meetings and safety communications
• Monitor site activities to ensure adherence to company and client HSE procedures
• Promote a strong safety culture across project teams

About You

• Proven experience working as an HSE Advisor within mining, heavy industry or major construction projects
• Strong knowledge of WA mining safety legislation and site safety systems
• Experience conducting incident investigations and safety audits
• Excellent communication skills and ability to influence safety behaviours on site
• Relevant Health & Safety qualifications (Cert IV WHS minimum)
• Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
