Engineering Trades Australia are currently seeking experienced Fixed Plant Mechanical Fitters for an immediate FIFO opportunity on a major gold mining operation.
This role involves the maintenance and repair of fixed plant processing infrastructure. You will be responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable operation of equipment across the processing plant.

Key duties include maintenance and repair of:

• Crushers
• Screens
• Conveyors
• Belts and feeders
• Pumps and pump rebuilds
• Chutes and bins

This position will work across the client’s processing plant infrastructure and offers ongoing work potential for the right candidates.

• 8:6 FIFO roster from Brisbane (direct charter flights)
• Hourly rate of $70/hr + 15% night shift uplift 
• Weekly pay cycle – paid every Friday

What is needed to be considered?

• Australian Trade Certificate in Mechanical Fitting
• Minimum 3 years’ fixed plant / processing plant maintenance experience
  (pumps, crushers, screens, belts, feeders)
• Australian C Class Driver’s Licence
• Full Australian working rights
• White Card, Working at Heights, Confined Spaces
• Clean National Police Clearance
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and D&A assessment
• Immediate availability preferred
