Engineering Trades Australia is currently seeking an experienced Service Technician to step in to an autonomous, site-based role within a major operation in the Goldfields region on WA. This is a long-term opportunity suited to someone who enjoys working independently. 


What is on offer?

• Location:          Goldfield's region, WA
• MOB:                ASAP - Ideally 19th January 
• Roster:             2:1 Dayshift only 
• Rates:               Between $60-75ph depending on experience - room for growth! 
• FIFO from Perth only 
• Meals and Accommodation provided at camp 
• Long-Term opportunity - ongoing role with no end dates! 

What will you be doing? 

• Completing routine 500-hour servicing, including oil and filter changes
• Carrying out basic mechanical repairs and component changeouts (alternators, starter motors etc) 
• Performing basic electrical fault finding and diagnostics
• Managing ordering parts, stock control and planning for upcoming work
• Acting as the sole onsite representative 

What are we looking for? 

• Previous experience in a service technician role
• Trade qualification advantageous but not essential 
• Strong Mechanical aptitude with basic electrical knowledge 
• Ability work on your own with excellent time management 
• Professional communication skills and client-focused approach
