Due to a strong pipeline of work extending into 2026, we are seeking skilled and experienced structural steel boilermakers and first-class welders to join a busy team based in Currumbin on the southern Gold Coast.
 
About the Role:
The ideal candidates will have proven experience in the fabrication, installation, and repair of structural steel components across industries such as mining, construction, and infrastructure. 
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret engineering drawings to fabricate, assemble, and install structural steel components
• Cut, drill, and shape steel using hand and power tools to specifications
• Weld steel components using GMAW, FCAW, and MMAW techniques
• Inspect, maintain, and repair structural steel components
• Operate cranes, hoists, and forklifts to move steel components

Requirements:

• Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade (Boilermaker/Welder)
• Minimum 3 years' experience in structural steel and plate fabrication and welding
• Proficiency in GMAW, FCAW, MMAW welding techniques and positional welding
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Ability to pass 1554.1 Welding Qualification
• Experience operating cranes, hoists, and forklifts
• Strong attention to detail and quality control
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
• Valid Australian driver's licence
