Geologist | 8:6 Roster | Leading WA Gold Producer Engineering Trades Australia (ETA) is partnering with one of Western Australia’s leading gold mining companies to recruit a talented Geologist for a permanent opportunity on an 8:6 FIFO roster.

About the Role You’ll work as part of a close-knit technical services team, contributing to daily geology functions and data integrity across site. The position is well-suited to a geologist with 3-6 years of experience, confident in data validation, geological sensors, and problem-solving in a fast-paced production environment.

The role also offers excellent exposure to both pit and project work, with opportunities to develop your technical and leadership skills under the guidance of experienced senior geologists.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform geological data validation to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Operate and manage geological sensors and instrumentation.
• Support daily production and grade control requirements.
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders to provide timely geological insights.
• Assist in pit mapping, ore delineation, and reconciliation activities.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across geology and data processes.

About You

• Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Earth Science, or related field.
• 3-6 years’ experience as a Geologist in mining, exploration, or production environments.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in geological data validation.
• Experience with geological sensors, instruments, or related technology.
• Excellent communication skills and proactive problem-solving attitude.
• Able to work effectively in a team environment and independently when required.
• Current Manual C-Class driver’s licence and ability to pass pre-employment medicals.
