Engineering Trades Australia is working with a national infrastructure client with a growing pipeline of high voltage projects across the country. We are currently seeking an experienced HV Cable Jointer to join their specialist team, supporting project-based installation, commissioning and testing works across industrial and mining sectors.
This is a full-time opportunity offering stable, ongoing work with a well-regarded industry leader.
  
The Role
You will be responsible for high voltage cable jointing and termination works (11kV to 33kV) across a range of infrastructure projects, including:

• Installation and commissioning of HV cables and terminations (predominantly XLPE)
• On-site testing and fault-finding of HV installations
• Working from electrical drawings and technical scopes
• Supporting system upgrades and asset integration during commissioning phases
• Adhering to all safety, quality, and compliance procedures

To Be Considered, You Will Have

• Recognised HV Cable Jointing qualification/certification
• Experience working with 11kV–33kV systems (experience up to 132kV highly regarded)
• Proficiency in XLPE cable jointing and terminations
• White Card and valid driver’s licence
• Ability to interpret electrical drawings and testing scopes
• Willingness to undertake pre-employment medical and D&A screening
• Cert III in ESI – Power Systems or relevant trade qualification preferred
