RTIO Inducted Dewatering Electrician – Hope Downs 1
We are seeking an experienced RTIO Inducted Dewatering Electrician to join our client at Hope Downs 1 on an initial 2-month assignment, with the potential for ongoing work for the right candidate.
Role Details:

• Site: Rio Tinto – Hope Downs 1
• Roster: 8:6 (Tuesday start)
• Rate: $80/hr
• FIFO: From Perth – meals & accommodation provided

About the Role:
Reporting to the Mine Water Management Supervisor, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations, maintenance, and repair of the dewatering network electrical equipment across site.
Experience Desired In:

• Diesel generators
• Variable speed drive systems
• Down hole bore pumps (up to 200kw)
• Instrumentation (flowmeters, pressure transducers, level control)
• Radio telemetry
• PLC controls
• Solar systems
• Standpipe systems
• Fault finding
• Poly pipe welding machines

Requirements:

• WA Electrical Licence
• RTIO Inducted (current)
• White Card
• Australian Driver’s Licence
• National Police Clearance (within 12 months)
• PEM, Lab DAS, Musculoskeletal Assessment, Spirometry & Audiometry (all within 12 months)
• First Aid: Provide First Aid (3 yrs), CPR (1 yr), Rescue from Live LV Panel (1 yr)
