We are currently taking Expressions of Interest from experienced trades and site-inducted workers for upcoming and ongoing shutdowns and project work across multiple sites in Central and Northern QLD.

What’s on offer:

• Shutdown and project work across major CHPPs and mine sites
• DIDO & local options from surrounding QLD regions
• Camp accommodation and meals provided
• Strong flat hourly rates from $65–$75/hr depending on role
• 12-hour paid shifts on shutdown or rolling rosters
• Work on coal, CHPP, and industrial sites across the Bowen Basin

Roles We’re Looking For:

• Mechanical Fitters
• Diesel Fitters
• Boilermakers
• Riggers (Basic, Intermediate, Advanced)
• Electricians
• Skilled Trade Assistants (Mechanical, Electrical, Boilermaker)
• MSIC Holders for port shutdowns

If you’re inducted to Glencore, BMA, Thiess, Whitehaven, Rio Tinto or Stanmore sites – we want to hear from you.

What we’re looking for:

• Mechanical or electrical maintenance experience on fixed plant (crushers, conveyors, pumps, mills, etc.)
• Previous shutdown or major project experience highly regarded
• Ability to work in a fast-paced shutdown environment with minimal supervision
• Willingness to travel and commit to site rosters

Minimum Requirements:

• Australian-recognised trade certificate (where applicable)
• Valid Standard 11 
• Coal Board Medical (must have access to it)
• Current Glencore, BMA, Thiess, Whitehaven, Rio Tinto or Stanmore site induction
• High Risk Work Licence (Riggers, Dogging, EWP etc.)
• Electrical Licence (for Electricians)
• Working at Heights, Confined Space (within 2 years)
• White Card
• Valid driver’s licence
• MSIC (optional – highly regarded for port shutdowns)
• Full Australian working rights
• Able to pass D&A and PEM screening
