Engineering Trades Australia are currently seeking experienced Trades Assistants / Labourers with Civil, Mechanical or Fabrication backgrounds to support a range of projects in Brisbane in both Oil & Gas and Civil sectors.

About the Role:

• Assisting with tank builds, repairs, and maintenance
• Assistance of Pipework fabrication and installation
• Structural assembly and general mechanical support
• Use of hand and power tools
• General site and workshop duties as required
• Supporting safe work practices in industrial environments

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Civil Labourer or Mechanical / Boilermaking Trades Assistant
• Comfortable working around tanks, piping systems, and industrial equipment
• Competent with basic hand and power tools
• Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious
• Able to follow instructions and work as part of a team

Desirable (but not essential):

• Confined Space and Working at Heights tickets
• Experience in oil & gas, civil, mining, or heavy industry
• High Risk Work licenses (Forklift, EWP, Rigging, etc.)
