Engineering Trades Australia (ETA) is currently recruiting multiple HSEQ Advisors on behalf of several leading contractors in the mining, oil & gas, and decommissioning sectors across Western Australia. These roles offer a mix of 2:1, 2:2, and 8:6 FIFO rosters from Perth, and are available as both permanent and contract positions.

Current Opportunities Include:

• HSEQ Advisor – Mining Project (8:6 FIFO)
• HSEQ Advisor – Decommissioning & Remediation (2:1 FIFO)
• HSEQ Advisor – Oil & Gas Shutdowns (2:2 FIFO)
• Permanent and contract roles available

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Support the development and implementation of HSEQ systems and safety initiatives
• Conduct risk assessments, incident investigations (ICAM), and site inspections
• Deliver site inductions, toolbox talks, VOCs and ongoing safety training
• Collaborate with supervisors and project managers to ensure site-wide safety compliance
• Foster a proactive safety culture and contribute to continuous improvement

What We’re Looking For:

• 3+ years’ HSEQ experience in mining, oil & gas, construction or industrial sectors
• Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety (mandatory)
• ICAM investigation experience or lead investigator qualification
• Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (desirable)
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Sound understanding of HSEQ legislation and management systems
• Valid Driver’s License and full Australian working rights
