Engineering Trades Australia is currently seeking experienced Mechanical and Hydraulic Fitters for long-term workshop-based roles. These are local positions suited to candidates living in the region or those who can drive in/out — please note accommodation is not provided or subsidised.

You’ll be primarily based in a well-equipped Gladstone workshop, with secondments to major sites across the area. Work involves the repair and maintenance of mining and processing plant equipment, with a strong focus on hydraulics and process infrastructure.

What is needed to be considered?

• Australian Trade Certificate
• Gladstone 3 Site Medical (yellow card pass)
• Minimum 3 years experience in heavy industries (hydraulic systems and mining/process plant equipment)
• Full Australian working rights
• Australian C Class Driving License
• White Card, Working at Heights, Confined Space
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical with D&A assessment
• Be immediately available for local work
