Our client is a market leader in ceramic, metallic and epoxy components. Headquartered in Perth, Western Australia, they specialize in wear resistant components and services for mineral processing plants and bulk handling applications.
They are currently seeking a talented and motivated Draughtsperson to join their growing team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects in Western Australia.

Responsibilities:
  

• Create detailed 2D and 3D drawings for wear protection parts using CAD tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Inventor, SolidWorks).
• Use technical data to design ceramic, metallic, and epoxy wear solutions.
• Work with engineers and project managers to design custom parts to meet client needs.
• Update existing designs based on feedback or improvements.
• Produce clear fabrication and installation drawings for workshop and site use.
• Make sure all drawings meet the company’s quality, safety, and industry standards.
• Help prepare Bills of Materials (BOMs) and technical documents for production.
• Join design reviews and offer input to enhance performance and manufacturability.
• Keep drawing files organized and updated per company procedures.
• Support workshop and site teams with drafting help during production and installation.

  
Requirements:
  

• Proficiency in CAD software - MicroStation
• Existing understanding of mechanical systems and components
• Experience in preparing fabrication and installation drawings
• Ability to interpret technical drawings
• Strong Attention to detail
• Organization and time management skills

 
 
Job Offer:

This is a 6-month position, the company is offering an attractive hourly rate, Monday to Friday.
