A well-established engineering and precision manufacturing business based in the Welshpool area is currently seeking experienced Manual Machinists to join their workshop team. This is a great opportunity to step into a stable environment with strong long-term potential.

This workshop is known for its high-quality machining work, supporting a range of industrial and engineering projects, and offers a solid, hands-on environment for skilled tradespeople.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manual machining of precision components to engineering standards
• Setting up and operating workshop machinery safely and efficiently
• Interpreting technical drawings and job specifications
• Maintaining high levels of accuracy and quality control
• Supporting general workshop operations as required

Essential Requirements:

• Trade qualification as a Fitter & Turner / Manual Machinist
• Previous experience in a machine shop environment
• High proficiency in operating Lathe machines, Milling machines, Horizontal borer equipment
• Proven experience operating a radial arm drill
• Valid and current forklift licence
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
