We're looking for a commercially minded Senior Financial Accountant to help strengthen financial integrity, deliver meaningful insights and support business performance across the organisation.
As a key member of our Finance team, you'll take ownership of critical financial accounting activities while partnering closely with stakeholders across the business. This is an opportunity to combine strong technical accounting capability with business partnering, analysis and continuous improvement in a dynamic and evolving environment.
What You'll Be Doing
- Review entity and group-level bank reconciliations across multiple accounts
- Prepare and reconcile balance sheet general ledger accounts on a monthly basis
- Prepare and review accounting entries supporting financial operations and group reporting
- Deliver financial analysis, variance commentary and insights on selected P&L and balance sheet accounts
- Partner with business stakeholders to provide financial guidance, recommendations and performance insights
- Support intercompany reporting and monitoring activities across the group
- Assist with statutory reporting requirements
- Support internal and external audit activities
- Assist with BAS, GST and taxation-related deliverables
- Contribute to treasury, reporting and process improvement initiatives
- Build strong working relationships across Finance, including Billing & Collections, Accounts Payable and Financial Planning & Analysis teams
- Liaise with internal teams to provide financial information and support as required
About You You're a detail-oriented and commercially aware finance professional who combines strong technical accounting expertise with a collaborative approach and a genuine commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes.
You'll Bring - Tertiary qualifications in Finance, Accounting or a related discipline
- CA or CPA qualification
- 5+ years' experience in a financial accounting and/or financial analysis role
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
- Experience preparing and interpreting financial reports and statements
- Experience partnering effectively with business stakeholders
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capability
- Experience using accounting systems such as Oracle NetSuite
- Advanced Excel skills, including Power Query, Power Pivot and Dynamic Arrays (desirable)
- Power BI experience for financial data analysis
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail
