The Role
We’re looking for a Senior Financial Accountant who thrives on delivering accuracy, insights, and impact. This is a key role within the Finance team, where you’ll take ownership of general ledger integrity while partnering closely with stakeholders to provide meaningful financial analysis, insights, and recommendations that drive business performance.

What you’ll be doing As a Senior Financial Accountant, you’ll play a critical role in maintaining financial integrity and supporting strategic decision-making. Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading the review of entity and group-level bank reconciliations
- Performing monthly balance sheet and general ledger reconciliations
- Preparing and reviewing journals and accounting entries across B2C and group reporting
- Delivering variance analysis and insightful commentary on P&L and balance sheet performance
- Managing intercompany reconciliations and reporting
- Supporting statutory reporting, BAS, and GST obligations
- Partnering with business units to provide financial leadership and commercial insights
- Assisting with internal and external audits
- Driving process improvements across reporting, taxation, and treasury
- Collaborating closely with Billing, Collections, AP, and FP&A teams
- Acting as a trusted contact point for cross-functional stakeholders
What success looks like You bring structure, clarity, and insight to the numbers ensuring accuracy while helping the business understand the “why” behind financial performance.
About you You’re a detail-oriented finance professional who combines strong technical expertise with a collaborative, business-focused mindset.
You’ll bring:
- A tertiary qualification in Finance/Accounting and CA/CPA qualification (essential)
- 5+ years’ experience in financial accounting or analysis roles
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Proven ability to partner with stakeholders and influence outcomes
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- High attention to detail and a reputation for being reliable and thorough
- A collaborative approach and strong team mindset
Technical skills - Experience with Oracle NetSuite (or similar ERP systems)
- Advanced Excel skills (Power Query, Power Pivot, Dynamic Arrays desirable)
- Experience using Power BI for analysis and reporting
