About the Opportunity
Legacy Search Advisors has partnered with a highly successful organization in the Baltimore area on a newly created FP&A Manager opportunity.
  
This is a highly visible role that will work closely with senior executive leadership and provide financial analysis, forecasting and strategic decision support across the organization. The position offers an opportunity to step into a lean finance function where the individual will have meaningful ownership and exposure well beyond traditional budgeting and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support annual budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning activities
• Develop financial models and analyses to support strategic and operational decision-making
• Analyze financial performance, key business drivers, trends and variances
• Prepare executive-level reporting and presentations for senior leadership
• Partner cross-functionally with accounting and business leaders to improve financial visibility and forecasting
• Evaluate business performance and identify opportunities to improve results
• Support ad hoc financial analysis and strategic initiatives
• Help enhance FP&A processes, reporting capabilities and financial models as the function continues to evolve

Ideal Background

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field
• Strong FP&A, corporate finance or financial analysis experience
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling and variance analysis
• Ability to synthesize complex financial information and communicate it effectively to senior leadership
• Strong analytical and Excel/modeling capabilities
• Comfortable operating independently in a lean, highly visible environment
