This Director must come from a Finance OR Accounting foundation, this is NOT a software developer or pure technology role.

The
Director of Finance - AI & Process Automation will report to a fantastic CFO who has been with this organization for nearly 10 years.
This large privately held company has been a leader in the industry for decades and continually expands through acquisition and the launch of new business lines.
The CFO has rolled out an initiative to invest in and leverage AI to improve and automate the back-office accounting and finance operation.
The Director of Finance - AI & Process Automation role is a major part of this investment.
The CFO is anxious to hire a Finance leader who has a LOVE for AI and continuous improvement. There is a plan of attack in place, this new Director will lead the execution.
The company has successfully leveraged Claude (AI) to implement automation in several operational areas and they are confident that with a Finance grounded AI enthusiast, there are a lot of additional opportunities.
Once automation is complete, there is a long-term seat to the right hand of the CFO and with continual growth, there will always be an element of AI & Automation embedded in the role!
